Clayton Hotel Cork City, Cork

My stay at the hotel was fabulous and super comfy. The rooms were nice, very clean, had a lovely bed, and the hotel ambiance was exceptionally warm even with A/C on constantly. The service was excellent, with friendly staff and efficient assistance. The location was fine since I had a meeting in the hotel. Dining was just okay, with some items not meeting expectations. Overall, a lovely experience with a few minor drawbacks.

The hotel room was very spacious, clean, and centrally located in the main part of the city. It needed cleaning on the first day, but nothing after that. Although a little dark, the lovely brilliance of the view from the top floor made up for it.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were nice and cozy, perfect for relaxing with friends especially during bad weather, plus I appreciated the pool and sauna facilities. However, I couldn't overlook the fact that I had stayed in a much nicer hotel in Cork for the same price the previous night. Also, the early noise disturbance to our room at 8.15 am was a downside.

The hotel's rooms were lovely but a bit cold, very spacious, clean, and centrally located in the main part of the city. They were also quiet. The service was outstanding, especially considering we were travelling with our 2-month-old baby. The hotel's free shuttle service to the Marquee venue was impeccable. The location was very satisfactory, especially being near Cork's bus depot, with excellent food and friendly, efficient staff. The dining experience, unfortunately, was poor with long waiting times and cold food. However, the facilities were good overall.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were cozy and the bed and pillows were very comfortable, but it was disappointing that the leisure facility was not working during my stay and the noise from the building nearby disturbed my sleep. The air conditioning helped somewhat, but the noise persisted. The location was excellent being close to the water and just a few minutes walk from Patrick St, but the crowded areas made it less enjoyable at times. The dining experience was alright, with a basic selection and the discount on the bedrooms helped a bit with the overall expenses.

I had a great stay at the hotel. The rooms were perfect and cool with air conditioning, and the location was convenient, within walking distance of both bus and train stations and the city center. However, the view from my room faced a scuzzy alley that got busy in the evening with Bus Eireann buses. The spacious room made everything easy to use compared to a nicer hotel I stayed at the previous night in Cork for the same price.
